What is Fused Glass?
Fused glass is a beautiful and accessible art form where you layer pieces of glass and then heat them in a kiln until they melt and fuse together into one solid piece. The glass can be clear, colourful, textured, or even decorated with patterns, giving you endless creative possibilities.
Create a stunning Devon landscape in fused glass wall art with us. A beautiful floral meadow or Beachy scene, Beachhuts or stunning landscapes, the choice is yours. This full-day in-person course gives you an opportunity to design, cut if you want to, create and decorate with expert tuition using the best tools and glass available, Bullseye powders, sheet glass, and accessory glass. We will have a tea or coffee break and biscuits (of course) Our studio is right next to the wonderful Pottery Restaurant at The House of Marbles and we are happy to book you a table if you want to have lunch there, do let us know at booking stage.
Your finished work will be fired in a kiln and mounted ready to hang on a white wooden board or you can choose to have it slumped into a beautiful free standing curve. You can collect or we will post to you after the course. 1-2 weeks. £5.00 cost to post, you can decide on the day.
Over 18s only Due to limited space, no spectators, children or dogs allowed in the teaching studio space.
You are able to cancel your Workshops up to 14 days prior to the course date to receive a full refund. If you cancel between 14 days and 7 days prior to the course date you will be charged at 50%. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the course date will be charged in full.
