Spectacular Glass Gallery and Teaching Studio open EVERYDAY 10am - 4pm

A rather brilliant world of glass, colour & creativity

Berserks is an independent glass gallery and working studio at The House of Marbles in Bovey Tracey, Devon.

Created by artists Dawn Campbell-Jones and Matt Jones, our gallery is packed with original fused and stained glass, art, jewellery and beautifully made pieces you won’t find everywhere else.

But we’re not just somewhere to shop. This is where we design, make, teach and occasionally create an impressive amount of mess. You can browse the gallery, see a real working studio in action, or come and make something rather fabulous yourself in one of our small, friendly glass workshops.

Open every day, 10am–4pm. Come in and see what we’re up to.

One Passion Two very Different Artists

Berserks is Dawn Campbell-Jones and Matt Jones — two established artists with very different ways of working, a lot of glass and a shared obsession with making constantly and always something a little different.

Dawn is an abstract botanical artist working in both glass and paint, known for her fearless use of colour, texture and pattern, inspired by flowers, wild landscapes and the Devon coast, her distinctive work has found collectors across the UK and around the world. That same instinctive, experimental approach and enthusiasm is what makes her workshops different — there’s no copying a set piece. People are encouraged to explore, experiment and create something that is genuinely their own.

Matt has more than two decades of experience in stained glass, as well as fused glass, combining traditional craftsmanship with strong contemporary design. His precision and technical knowledge are the perfect counterpoint to Dawn’s instinctive approach, and his workshops offer the chance to learn those skills properly, directly from an accomplished working artist.

It’s this combination of experience, individuality and a genuine love of making that has built a loyal following for their work and workshops — and made Berserks the busy, successful gallery and working studio it is today.
