LEARN STAINED GLASS WITH MATT

Spend a full day learning the beautiful Tiffany copper-foil method with Matt Jones, a highly skilled and qualified stained glass artist with over 20 years’ experience. Matt’s work is precise, beautifully finished and technically superb – and this is your chance to learn properly from someone whose work you’ll aspire to. You’ll choose your design and your glass, then Matt will take you through the whole process: cutting, shaping, grinding, copper foiling and soldering, sharing the little tricks and techniques that only come from years of doing it. Choose one of our designs – perhaps our Sunrise Teardrop, crashing wave, flowers or something more abstract – then make it completely your own with an incredible choice of colours and textured glass. With only five people in each workshop, this is relaxed, hands-on tuition with plenty of Matt’s time and attention. No previous experience needed. Just come ready to learn a brilliant new skill and leave with a finished piece of stained glass that you’ll be ridiculously proud

 A full days experience in our purpose built welcoming glass studio at The House of Marbles Bovey Tracey.

Create a beautiful piece of Stained glass art with us, a light catching Sunrise Tear Drop or a boat rushing through the Waves, flowers, abstract or something else, it will be full of texture and and your choice of glass colour, ready to shine in the sunlight.

This full-day in-person course gives you an opportunity to choose which design to use, learn how to cut, foil and solder all under qualified expert tuition using the best tools and glass available. We will have a tea or coffee break with biscuits (of course)  Our studio is right next to the wonderful Pottery Restaurant at The House of Marbles and we are happy to book you a table if you want to have lunch there, do let us know at booking stage. 

Your finished work will be completed and ready to take home with you at the end of your day with us.

You are able to cancel your Workshops up to 14 days prior to the course date to receive a full refund. If you cancel between 14 days and 7 days prior to the course date you will be charged at 50%. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the course date will be charged in full.
